Picture Highlights Across the street from the world famous Universal studios, the entertainment world gathered in anticipation for the 8th Annual The Soiree at the Hilton Universal Ballroom, hosted by Grammy winner Al Walser.
The gala was a feast for the senses
With Glamour and Glitz, the night was filled with excitement and surprises, as the World Entertainment Awards were also introduced to the world. The red carpet was ablaze with gorgeous attire as the many Grammy winners, nominees, stars and CEO's arrived in style to come together to celebrate, catch up and network.
Former President of MCA Records Ernie Singleton who was also essential for the careers of Mary J Blige, Prince, P. Diddy to name just a few, reminded at the event about the importance for the month of February, that it was also Black History Month and the 50th Anniversary of Hip-Hop.
